I work closely with children and parents to identify psychological factors that hinder development and cause emotional and behavioral difficulties. Addressing these obstacles can get your child back on track and bolster him or her against problems in the future. Child psychotherapy involves play and/or art therapy, combined with talk therapy depending on the developmental level of the child. Parent work is an essential component of child psychotherapy and I meet with parents for a session at least once monthly to collaborate on your child's progress and to share thoughts and observations on how he or she is doing and how to support growth and development.
